English (UK) is a separate entry rather than a cosmetic variant. The difference is spelling and register — honour rather than honor, practise as a verb — and for a reader in Britain the familiar form is simply less friction between them and the meaning.
Britain has one of the oldest established Muslim communities in Western Europe, and for a large share of British Muslims English is a first language rather than a second. A translation in the register they read everything else in is not a small convenience.
The underlying translation carries the same difficulty every English rendering does: Arabic distinguishes grammatical features English collapses — dual number, verb forms conveying intensity or reciprocity — and the translator makes choices about these. Reading with an awareness that you are reading an interpretation is part of using one well.
On first launch in the United Kingdom the app selects this variant automatically, so a reader there is not asked to choose between two things that look identical in a list.
