Prayer Times While Travelling – Accurate Salah Times in Any City

New city, new time zone. Same salah. Whether you’re on a business trip, a family holiday or a journey to Makkah, keeping your prayers on time while travelling can feel hard. Islam365 takes care of the timings so you can focus on the prayer.

How Islam365 updates prayer times automatically

Islam365 uses your phone’s location to calculate Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha for exactly where you are. When you land in a new city, the times update to the local time zone. Adhan alerts follow your new location, so you’re notified at the right local time. A next prayer countdown shows how long until the next salah.

Tips for flights and airports

✈️ Check the times before you fly. Note which prayers fall during the flight. 🕐 Keep the app updated with your location after landing; times change with the time zone. 🧭 Find the Qibla quickly in airports and hotels with Islam365’s AR Qibla. 📴 Many features, such as the Quran and duas, work offline, so download what you need before travelling.

Shortening prayers while travelling (Qasr)

Allah made prayer easier for travellers:

“And when you travel throughout the land, there is no blame upon you for shortening the prayer…” (Qur’an 4:101)

Rules such as the minimum travel distance, how long you can shorten, and combining prayers differ between schools of thought. Please follow the guidance of your scholar or madhhab.
