Step 2: Say Bismillah

Step 3: Wash both hands three times

Step 4: Rinse the mouth three times (Madmadah)

Using both hands, wash the entire face from the top of the forehead (where hair begins) to the bottom of the chin, and from ear to ear. This is the first fard act. Wash three times for the complete Sunnah, one time is the minimum valid.
Step 7: Wash the right arm three times, then the left
Wash from the fingertips to the elbow, including the elbow itself. Begin with the right arm, then the left. This is the second fard act.
Step 8: Wipe over the head once (Masah)
With wet hands (not re-dipped in water use the water remaining on the hands), wipe from the front of the head to the back, then bring the hands back to the front. This is performed once. This is the third fard act.
Step 9: Wipe the ears
Immediately after wiping the head using the same wet hands insert the index fingers into the ear canals and wipe the back of the ears with the thumbs. This is done once.
Step 10: Wash the right foot three times, then the left
Wash from the tips of the toes to the ankle, including the ankle itself. Run the little finger of the left hand between the toes to ensure water reaches between them (Khilal). Begin with the right foot. This is the fourth and final fard act.
